Our Mission
To help people everywhere relieve stress and access deep states of meditation.
Through immersive large-scale community gatherings, educational programs, and sleep support tools, we offer gentle tools for stress relief, mental health, and nervous system regulation, bringing calm and connection to communities everywhere.
OUR PARTNERS

We’re partnering with Death Transitions, a Bay Area organization that provides end-of-life care & services.
Their network of death doulas and caregivers will be using The Sound Bath App to support those on their end-of-life journey. We sincerely believe these sounds can soothe anxiety and help maintain calm through the threshold of life and death. We also give them our online sound bath training course for free and steep discounts on our in-person training course.

Our Impact
Community gatherings that soothe the soul
'The Sound Healing Symphony' has gathered in beautiful, unique spaces in San Diego, Los Angeles, Portland, Seattle, New York City and more. Our goal is to share this practice with everyone, everywhere.

Sound & Regulation Program
Bringing sound-based nervous system care into the places kids already spend their days.
The same tools that help a room full of adults soften help a room full of kids focus, transition, and feel safe. So we built a program to bring them into schools and after-school sites for grades K–12, as part of the daily rhythm — six 30-minute sessions woven into the existing schedule, with staff participating right alongside students.

OUR STORY
From a gong chair on the boardwalk to the nation's largest sound baths
Simona Asinovski and Guy Douglas met in Los Angeles in the early 2010s, when Simona encountered Guy's "Gong Chair" on the Venice Beach boardwalk. "The Gong Chair" was an immersive experience Guy created using three gongs and a gravity chair. That encounter led them to create "Gong Flow Yoga" together in 2012. That venture never quite picked up momentum, but they tried collaborating again for "The Holistic Chamber of Sound" in San Francisco, in 2015.
What started as small gatherings has grown into "The Sound Healing Symphony", now home to the nation's largest sound baths, drawing 300 to 1,300 attendees at a time in cathedrals, museums, and other iconic community spaces across San Francisco, Los Angeles, San Diego, Portland, and New York.
For over a decade, Sound Meditation Presents has been bringing communities together through the healing power of sound. This year we became a nonprofit! Our goal is to spread this practice, and get sound meditation into urban environments. We are currently working on a project to bring sound baths into schools!
Meet the Co-Executive Directors

Simona Asinovski
CO-EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR
I come from a culture of anxiety, I struggle with it myself, and I’m determined to overcome it. I believe everyone can learn to experience more peace, clarity, and insight through meditation. I stumbled upon sound meditation in 2011, and I’ve been hooked ever since. What started as a regular practice of listening to sound baths has grown into a daily meditation practice, and into leading the nation’s largest sound bath gatherings, drawing 300 to 1,300 people at a time. I also created the Sound Bath Training Course, which has now trained over 200 students, and I authored a book on sound meditation.

Guy Douglas
CO-EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR
I’ve been involved in sharing the healing power of these instruments for over 15 years. For me, music has always had a healing component to it, it locked in the moment I first heard the sounds of the gong and Tibetan bowls. I believe that through the power of these sounds, we all have the ability to tap into the subconscious mind, heal dormant pathways, and help open the heart. I lead and conduct Sound Meditation Presents’ large-scale sound bath performances, including The Sound Healing Symphony, bringing the experience of deep sound meditation to thousands of people across the country. It feels more important than ever to share this practice now, especially in these ever-changing times.
